Governor SERIAKE DICKSON has emerged the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for November general elections in Bayelsa State.

Governor SERIAKE DICKSON has emerged the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for November general elections in Bayelsa State. DICKSON emerged following the disqualification of his two other contenders for the governorship ticket. Those disqualified for the governorship ticket include the Senator representing Bayelsa Central Senatorial District, EMMANUEL PAULKER, and a former Local Government Chairman of Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area, Chief EBIKINTIN DIONGOLI. The Bayelsa State Publicity Secretary of the PDP, OSOM MAKBERE, who confirmed the successful screening of DICKSON, said he was not aware of the reasons for the disqualification of the two others.
