The Governor however insisted that executive order twenty one which requires a payment of five million naira for the use of public schools for campaigns by political parties is justifiable.
The governor said even his party, the People’s Democratic Party has paid the money and as such other parties must obey the order.
The Governor also justified the decision of his party to challenge other political parties in court adding that it is part of the electoral process.
