Governor Wike announced the donation just as he commiserated with the family of the late eminent jurist whom he described as a foremost legal icon at the National and international level and deserving nothing less than a befitting State burial.
The Governor who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Tammy Danagogo presented the cheque to the bereaved family, noting that Governor Wike has again demonstrated his love for the Kalabari people which he has shown through various developmental projects and welfare support to individuals and organizations.
