The APC was reacting to comments credited to Governor WIKE during a thanksgiving church service in Port Harcourt on Sunday, where he was reported to have vowed to put his life on the line in the 2019 elections, and urged his supporters to do same.
State Publicity Secretary of APC, CHRIS FINEBONE, said the Governor’s statement was extremely unbefitting and grossly demeaning to the high office he occupies.
In a statement circulated to media houses, the APC’s spokesman said Governor WIKE’s expression suggest that he is an unrepentant believer in violent politics.
CHRIS FINEBONE is the spokesman of the APC in Rivers State.
