Governor IKPEAZU was speaking in audience with a delegation of six governors from the northern parts of the country during a courtesy visit to the Government House in Umuahia.
The Governor told his colleagues from Borno, Sokoto, Plateau, Niger, Katsina and Kebbi that those causing trouble in the state as infinitesimal minority.
Abia State: CP confirms trial of suspects of police station attack
Commissioner of Police in Abia State, ANTHONY OGBIZI,
has confirmed the commencement of the trial of suspects who were arrested in the disturbances in parts of the state.
CP OGBIZI said seven of the suspects were arrested in the commercial city of Aba for alleged sundry offences, including arson attack on a police station at Ariaria International Market.
The Commissioner of Police confirmed the arraignment of the suspects in an interview with newsmen in Umuahia.
