Reports say the nationwide raids came as the government banned the group known as True Religion, based on accusation of trying to recruit fighters for so-called Islamic State.
An Interior Ministry spokeswoman said there was no indication that the local group was planning attacks itself, although it was accused of breaching the constitution and inciting hatred.
