The long-serving Gambian leader made the vow as regional mediators pile pressure on him to accept election defeat by opposition candidate, ADAMA BARROW.
JAMMEH who has been in power for twenty-two years, said he would not be intimidated, stressing that he was not a coward and would insist on his rights.
President JAMMEH initially appeared to have conceded defeat in the election on 1st December, but later turned around to challenge the result.
His party has filed a case at the Supreme Court seeking to annul the election on grounds that it was flawed.
In a forty-five-minute speech at the conference of the African Bar Association, President JAMMEH declared that he was a man of peace but will not be intimidated by any power in the world.
