The Gambia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry has reported that ninety percent of businesses in the tourism sector have been affected by the uncertainty caused by the current political stalemate.
The Chamber said the tourism industry is experiencing cancellations and a decline in tourist numbers for the Christmas season, which has in turn affected craft vendors.
