Fresh revelations have emerged on the wave of violence in Ahoada East and Ahoada West Local Government Areas of Rivers State.

Investigations by our correspondent indicate that a ban on youth activities in the two local government areas that fall within Ekpeye Kingdom is a major factor for the restiveness that has claimed the life of many people.This was made known during an encounter between our correspondent, FELIX OJOGWU and members of the so-called Ekpeye Freedom Fighters at the hideout.The leadership of the Ekpeye Freedom Fighters revealed that their members carried out the recent attack on the palace of Eze ROBINSON.They however said it was not true that they were sponsored by former Chairman of Ahoada East Local Government council, KASIDY IKEGBIDI.The leader of the group, UNENE JOHNSON, who is also known as GENERAL IGBUDU, put the blame on the King of Ekpeye Kingdom, Eze ROBINSON O. ROBINSON.Another member of the Ekpeye Freedom Fighters, IKPE UMUNNA, said the crisis in the area would come to an end once the welfare of youth receive attention.
