French President FRANCOIS HOLLANDE has honoured three Americans and a Briton who helped foiled a suspected terror attack on a high speed train. Two other unnamed passengers will join SPENCER STONE, ALEK SKARLATOS, ANTHONY SADLER and CHRIS NORMAN as recipients of the French Legion d’honneur. The passengers are being celebrated for overpowering a suspected radical Islamist on a high-speed train bound for Paris on Friday. During a ceremony at the Elysee Palace in Paris, President HOLLANDE praised the men for their bravery, stressing that they showed what could be done in terrible circumstances. The ceremony was also attended by Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel and the US Ambassador to France, JANE HARTLEY.
Twenty-five-year-old Moroccan national AYOUB EL-KHAZZANI is being questioned over an attempted attack.
