The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the killing of the Chief Security Officer of Khana Local Government Area, Letam Kinee.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Grace Iringe-Koko, in a statement, said the deceased’s body has been deposited in a mortuary for preservation and autopsy, while a full-scale investigation has commenced to identify and apprehend those responsible.
According to the police, although the deceased’s family is yet to file a formal complaint, they have been advised to do so to support ongoing investigations and facilitate the prompt administration of justice.
The Command assured residents of its commitment to ensuring that everyone connected to the incident is identified, arrested, and prosecuted in accordance with the law.
