France alert growing cyber attacks.

French Defence Minister JEAN-YVES LE DRIAN confirmed about twenty-four thousand of such attacks last year, which he said were doubling every year.

Following the trend, the French government has expressed fears that the country’s presidential elections this year could be targeted.

The Defence Minister said it would naive to think that France was immune to the type of cyber-campaign that targeted the US election, which has been blamed on Russia.

Meanwhile; the French elections slated for April and May this year are being carefully watched after the surprise victory of US President-elect DONALD TRUMP.

In the meantime; French conservative candidate FRANCOIS FILLON is warming up to Russia and has promised to improve relations with the Kremlin.

In return; FILLON has been praised by Russian President VLADIMIR PUTIN.

Only recently; incoming President of the United States of America, DONALD TRUMP was quoted as saying that those who oppose good relations with Russia are stupid people or fools.
