Former transitional president of Guinea, SEKOUBA KONATE has pleaded guilty in the United States to smuggling tens of thousands of dollars into the country.
Fifty-one-year old KONATE is accused of trying to sneak more than sixty-four thousand dollars into the US, which was hidden in a luggage.
Prosecutors said the army General committed the offence in 2013 when he was intercepted in a flight from Ethiopia to Dulles International Airport.
