The former Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, David Omereji, has expressed profound gratitude to the people of Emohua for the opportunity they gave him to serve them.
Omereji made these remarks on Saturday during a surprise birthday visit from friends, political associates, members of the Simplified Movement in Emohua, and other well-wishers in Port Harcourt.
The former council boss stated that he would not be celebrating his birthday due to the current situation in the state. In light of this, he called for the reinstatement of Governor Siminialayi Fubara.
Recounting his tenure, David Omereji highlighted his administration’s achievements within his four months in office. He stated that they were able to complete a number of projects, including some that had been abandoned by his predecessor.
Omereji’s expression of gratitude reflects on his time in office and his connection with the people of Emohua. His call for Governor Fubara’s reinstatement indicates his position on the current political developments in the state. The mention of his administration’s accomplishments, particularly the completion of abandoned projects, serves to highlight his impact during his brief time as chairman.
