Speaking In an interview with correspondent Sandra Kenneth shortly after visiting the area, Eze Egi, His Royal Majesty Professor Anele Wokoma said they hardly experience the presence of government in the area despite contributing fifty percent of their natural resources.
Professor Wokoma however; pleaded with the government at all levels to come to their aid, adding that houses and crops have been destroyed as a result of the flooding.
Our correspondent reports that communities affected are Obite, Ede, Oboburu, Obagi, Ogbibor, Ohalelu, Akabuka and Ogbogu.
