FG Donates ₦25m Anti-Snake Venom to Benue

The Federal Government has donated 100 vials of PANAF-Premium anti-snake venom, valued at ₦25 million, to the Benue State Government.

The donation is aimed at strengthening the state’s capacity to treat victims of snakebites and improve access to life-saving antivenom, particularly in communities where snakebite cases are common.

The intervention comes amid concerns over the availability and affordability of anti-snake venom in Nigeria, with shortages often affecting timely treatment of victims.

The donated antivenom is expected to support healthcare facilities in Benue and help reduce complications and deaths associated with snakebite envenoming.
