The Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, has assured that the Federal Government is committed to preventing industrial action in the education sector.
Speaking on the matter, Alausa said President Bola Tinubu has directed his team to ensure that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and other unions in tertiary institutions across the country do not embark on strike actions. He emphasized that the government is working to address the concerns of these bodies to maintain stability in the sector.
