Federal High court to hear APC suit against order 21 & 22 December 29

Today FM’S Uchendu Ejiowhor reports that when the matter resumed in court, counsel to APC in Rivers State, Collins Dike informed the court that he has effected service to all the defendants but yet to receive any from them.

On his part, counsel to Nigerian Police and Inspector General of Police acknowledged receipt of service from APC counse,  but requested for more time to enable him respond to court process, which was granted by the court.

The presiding Judge, Justice Emmanuel Obile after listening to presentation from counsels present in court, adjourned till 20th of December, 2022 for hearing and possible adoption of addresses.

Counsel to APC, Collins Dike told Today FM correspondent that his client is in court to challenge the legality and constitutionality of execution orders by Governor NYESOM WIKE which he said is against the fundamental rights of his client.

Counsel to the Nigerian Police who was present in court declined comment.
