The withdrawal of Justice TSOHO followed a petition by one of the accused person, ABU MUSAB AL-BANAWI.
The detained spokesperson for the Boko Haram accused Justice TSOHO of bias and requested for the transfer of the case from his court.
AL-BANAWI and his seven co-accused persons are standing trial for alleged abduction and murder of five expatriate construction workers in Kebbi State in 2011.
They suspects also allegedly kidnapped and killed another set of seven foreigners after they were abducted from a construction site in Bauchi State in February 2013 and moved to Borno State.
Justice JOHN TSOHO announced his withdrawal from the case at the resumed hearing yesterday.
