This time, farmers have questioned the credibility of the Presidency’s declaration of a state of emergency on food security and the palliatives set aside, months ago.
The farmers in an interview with Today’s FM Paul Emeka Chimodo expressed doubts over the programme, adding that they were yet to receive any palliatives from the Federal government
The farmers while urging the government not to allow politicians distribute the palliatives, also questioned why the sum of seventy billion naira would be approved for law makers in the house of representatives to enhance their duties, while a paltry sum of nineteen billion naira is being set aside by the presidency to boost food security.
