The Caretaker Chairman, COLLINS ONUNWO purportedly made the pronouncement in a bid to resolve the chieftaincy dispute between Eze BEKWELE WELI-ATAM and Eze SAMUEL NYEGWA who also lays claim to the stool.
You will recall that the Obio-Akpor Caretaker Committee Chairman had set up a committee to investigate the dispute over the traditional stool and report back to the council for proper intervention.
Confirming the development to our correspondent in an interview, Chief OVUNDU ICHENWO said Eze SAMUEL NYEGWA and his group have been warned to stop parading themselves as the authority in Rumuagholu.
Chief ICHENWO spoke on behalf of Rumuagholu council of Chiefs and Elders in confirming the outcome of the investigation and the decision of the Obio-Akpor Caretaker Chairman.
He also warned that the council would not hesitate to hand over to security agencies anyone found to be conducting himself in a manner that threatens to breach the public peace in Rumuagholu.
