Rangers International FC have confirmed that Evans Ogbonda has officially extended his stay with the club, signing a new two-year contract that will keep him at the Coal City side until the end of the 2026/2027 football season.
The deal was finalized on Monday, July 7, 2025, at the club’s corporate office in Enugu. Present at the signing were the club’s General Manager and CEO, Amobi Ezeaku Esq., and the Administrative Secretary, Barrister Alex Egbo.
Ogbonda’s extension comes as a boost to the eight-time Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
