Engenni youths potest over marginalization by multinationals

The protesters also threatened to continue the protest until their voices are heard.

Some of the protesters told Today FM’s Sandra Kenneth that they have been marginalized by both government and multinational companies operating in their communities.

They stressed the need for urgent steps to be taken on their demands of the provision of social amenities in their communities by the companies.

Speaking on behalf of the chiefs and elders in the area, the paramount ruler of Akinima, His Royal Highness; Otovie Smith promised to ensure that they put in place all measures needed to sustain the protest.
