The Emohua council authorities announced that motorcycle operations would now be allowed from 6AM and 6PM daily in all community.
The Chairman of the council’s Caretaker Committee, JOHN WOKOMA made the pronouncement during a meeting at the secretariat.
JOHN WOKOMA said the ban is intended to help check violent crimes and recurring attacks by cultists who have been found to use motorcycles for their operations.
He said the ban would last until the security situation in Emohua improves, adding that security agencies have been directed to arrest and prosecute offenders.
