The Public Relations officer of Rivers State Police command, Grace Iringe-Koko in a statement, revealed that AIG Abutu Yaro will supervise four Commissioners of Police deployed to Rivers State for the 2023 General Elections.
The Commissioners of Police to be supervised by the AIG are; CP Yomi Olanrewaju, CP Samuel Musa, CP Lanre Sikiru, and CP Aderemi Adeoye, coordinating the State Headquarters.
The statement also disclosed that Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, CP Okon Effiong has been redeployed for election duty in Enugu State.
While the mobile phone number of AIG Abutu Yaro,08037233584 has been made available to the public, for cases of emergency, the contacts of the Commissioners of Police will be made available in due course.
The statement quoted the Command urging Rivers people to come out en masse to exercise their franchise, as adequate deployments have been made to ensure that elections are peaceful, free, fair, and credible.
