Lead Judge of the Appeal Panel, Justice J.O. BADA reserved the judgment after hearing the arguments and submissions of the lawyers in the matter.
While, Counsel to the ADP and FINGESI, DOLAPO ATTANI requested the Court to upturn the decision of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, all the respondents including INEC, Governor NYESOM WIKE and the PDP asked the Appeal court to dismiss ADP’s suit for lacking in merit.

The Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt has also reserved ruling in two Appeals of the Governorship Candidate of African Action Congress, AAC, BIOKPOMABO AWARA against the ruling of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.
The Justice J.O BADA-led five man Appeal Panel reserved ruling in the two Appeals after all the parties adopted their processes.
Senior Advocate of Nigeria, TAWO TAWO who represents AWARA in the matter told the Appeal court that his client was denied the right to fair hearing.
Counsel to AAC, HENRY BELLO told newsmen outside the Courtroom that the Governorship Candidate, AWARA was defiant on the issue of legal representation when his petition was yet to be heard.
On his part, MARK AGWU who is one of the Lawyers of Governor NYESOM WIKE said the Tribunal did what they think is right in the circumstance.
AWARA is appealing the ruling on the refusal of the Tribunal to allow him amend his processes and the consent judgement of the Tribunal that dismissed his petition against the victory of Governor NYESOM WIKE.
