EFCC slamms seventeen-count charge against Fani Kayode

 
The charges against the former Minister of Aviation are in connection to an alleged fraud of one point five billion naira.
 
FEMI FANI-KAYODE is charged alongside a former Minister of Finance, Senator NENADI USMAN, as well as DANJUMAN YUSUF, OLUBODE OKE and a company known as Joint Trust Dimensions Limited.
 
FANI-KAYODE was named in all seven counts, while NENADI USMAN was named in the first four counts.
 
The case was filed before a the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, and the accused persons are expected to be arraigned as soon as the case is assigned to a judge.
 
The EFCC has also listed seventeen witnesses, including representatives of some banks, to testify against the defendants.
