The Chairman of the party made the declaration despite a suit in court seeking to stop the Governor from participating in the exercise at the Federal High court in Port Harcourt.
The PDP boss noted while the plaintiff in the suit has the right to participate in the election; he however cannot stop another person from exercising his own rights.
In the meantime; a High Court sitting Benin, the Edo state Capital, has ordered that Governor Godwin Obaseki be allowed to participate in the People’s Democratic Party’s governorship primaries.
The court also ordered that no aspirant who has been cleared by the party should be prevented from taking part in the election.
