This comes shortly after Ize-Iyamu obtained the nomination form of the All Progressives Congress in Abuja.
The Governorship aspirant was accompanied by other aspirants to Abuja.
Ize-Iyamu in a statement issued through his Campaign Organisation and signed by the Director of Communication and Media, John Mayaki, described his purchase of the nomination form as another stride in the quest to move Edo State forward.
The statement said there have been efforts to cause disunity in the party and pit people against each other by those who it said have sadly embraced politics without principles and are openly rebelling against the leadership of the party because they believe they have absolute power.
It however claimed that Edo APC is united and the deviants may have a loud voice but do not represent the majority.
