Dumo Lulu-Briggsstresses need for peaceful co-existence amongst Nigerians

Chief Lulu-Briggs who spoke on the significance of June 21 to Abonnema people said they went through a lot in the hands of Biafra Soldiers who laid siege in the community and asked them to relocate across the River Niger during the civil war.

The Kalabari born politician who is an indigene of Abonnema community encouraged Nigerians to learn from the experience of Abonnema people on how to resolve issues and avoid war.

Today FM’s Uchendu Ejiowhor who was at Abonnema community reports that economic and commercial activities were shut down as the people marched across the communities and thereafter proceeded to lay wright for fallen heroes.
