DSS Arrests Two Suspects Over Kidnap of Nasarawa University Dean

The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested two suspects in connection with the abduction of Professor Samuel Okunsebor, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Nasarawa State University, Keffi.

Okunsebor was abducted by armed men at Mile Uku, a boundary community between Lafia and Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Areas of Nasarawa State.

DSS operatives later rescued the professor following an intelligence-led operation and reunited him with his family. He was subsequently taken to the Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital for medical evaluation.

A senior university official disclosed that a man and a woman were among those arrested over the abduction and are currently in DSS custody.

Investigations are ongoing as security operatives work to uncover the wider kidnapping network and apprehend other suspects linked to the incident.
