The State chairman of Drivers Welfare Association, Lekia Isaac who spoke on behalf of drivers in the state, told our correspondent, Sandra Kenneth that fake transportation tickets are being sold to drivers.
Lekia lamented that they are being mandated to buy tickets from the National Union of Road Transport Workers at almost every point, just as he pleaded with the state government to implement the unified ticketing system.
Reacting to the complaint by commercial drivers in the state, Kalango who doubles as the South South Vice Chairman and the State Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers said it is impossible to have a unified ticketing system, noting that there are different branches of the union in different Local Government Areas.
