The freed criminal suspect has been identified as HENRY CHIBUEZE, who is also known as Vampire.
Before his rescue; HENRY CHIBUEZE had been in prison since July, 2015 following his arrest over several crimes, including kidnapping.
A senior prison officer told newsmen that several persons were wounded, but no death was recorded at the end of the shootout between the gang members and security operatives.
The Prison officer said the shooting began as soon as a prison truck conveying over fifty inmates arrived within the court premises.
