Reports say DONALD TRUMP Junior is to appear before the Senate Committee alongside his brother in-law JARED KUSHNER and his father’s former campaign manager, PAUL MANAFORT.
The three men are to testify before the Senate on alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election that ushered President TRUMP into office.
They were invited by the Senate because of their meeting with a Russian lawyer last year who offered to assist the Trump Campaign with information against the Democrats rival, HILLARY CLINTON.
In the meantime; President TRUMP has reportedly expressed regret for appointing JEFF SESSIONS as Attorney General, saying he would not have considered him for the job if he had known he would rescue himself from the inquiry.
The Senate, the House and a Justice Department special counsel are all investigating whether Russia interfered in the election to try to tip it in favour of DONALD TRUMP.
