DOGARA said the high turnover of lawmakers must not be allowed to continue, as it deprives legislators of quality representation to their constituents.
The Speaker also pledged the support of the National Assembly for traditional rulers to be assigned constitutional responsibilities.
He was speaking during a meeting with the Oba MICHAEL YUSUF, who is the Obadofin of Oweland, in Kabba, Kogi State.
DOGARA said the National Assembly has endorsed constitutional roles for traditional rulers in the ongoing constitution amendment.
He called for advocacy to encourage state houses of assembly to endorse the recommendation in the amendment of the constitution.
The Speaker was the guest of the lawmaker representing Kabba-Bunu-Ijumu Federal Constituency, YUSUF AYO TAJUDEEN.
