Dickson Urges NDC Candidates to Remain Calm Over Court Ruling

The National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Seriake Dickson, has urged the party’s candidates to remain calm following a court ruling setting aside an order for the party’s registration, insisting there is no cause for alarm.

Dickson said the party was taking the necessary legal steps to address the court decision and expressed confidence that the matter would be resolved.

He maintained that the NDC had validly conducted primary elections nationwide under the supervision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and had successfully nominated candidates for all elective positions.

According to him, the party has produced candidates for the State Houses of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, governorship elections and the presidency, with its presidential candidate also having nominated a running mate.

Dickson assured party members that the leadership remains committed to protecting the interests of all its candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
