Detained former Congolese rebel leader, BOSCO ends hunger strike after nearly two weeks.

NTAGANDA is being detained on the orders of the International Criminal Court in The Hague where he is on trial for war crimes.

He pleaded not guilty last year to eight counts of war crimes and crimes against is awaiting sentencing by the ICC.

The former rebel commander in the Democratic Republic of Congo earned a reputation as “The Terminator” because of his activities.

NTAGANDA embarked on hunger strike in protest against the conditions of his detention, including restriction from family visits.
