The Onu-Onyan-Ekien of Udekama in Degema, King REUBEN AMOS, made the denial in an interview with newsman.
King AMOS said memos were submitted directly to the Panel, adding that chieftaincy stools in Degema were not obligated to carry out their functions through the Kalabari Council of Chiefs.
Meanwhile, some Chiefs of other communities in Degema, including Usokun, Ogruama and Tombia, have appealed to the Rivers State Government to look into issues of marginalization in the area.
