Chairman of the human rights organization, Clifford Christopher, in an interview with TodayFm’s Sandra Kenneth, called on the Nigeria police to stand up to its constitutional duties of protecting lives and properties.
He explained that barely one week after the rivers state police commissioner, Emeka Nwoye launched operation zero crime, there has been an increase in crime rate.
Clifford called on the Rivers state governor, Siminilaye Fubara to organize a security summit for security agencies and civil society organizations to discuss ways of ensuring a safer environment for all.
