Deadliest Bomb Attack in Somali Capital, Mogadishu, Claims more than Three Hundred Lives

No fewer than one hundred people were also wounded in the deadliest attack in Somalia since the Al-Shabab-led Islamist insurgency began in 2007.
Police said the blast was set off from truck loaded with explosives outside a hotel in the K5 intersection that is lined with government offices, restaurants and kiosks.
President MOHAMED ABDULLAHI FARMAAJO has declared three days of national mourning, during which flags would be flown at half-mast.
President FARMAAJO has also called for donations of blood and funds to victims of attack.
The President said the horrific attack proves that the enemies of Somalia would stop at nothing to cause his people pain and suffering.
Meanwhile; hundreds of Somalis have marched on the streets in an angry reaction to the devastating bombing.
However; the Al-Shabab militant group has not claimed responsibility for the attack.
