The group known as the New Initiative for Credible Leadership wants the Federal Government to investigate alleged links between Niger Delta militant groups and Amnesty International.
The Executive Director of the group, Reverend STEVEN ONWU made the call during a news conference in Abuja.
Reverend ONWU expressed worry that militants that have been destroying oil installations in the Niger Delta would invite Amnesty International in a bid to indict the military over the ongoing Operation Crocodile Smile.
STEVEN ONWU called for the expulsion of Amnesty International from Nigeria, as well as for the Federal Government to refer the group to the international community over alleged involvement in terror related activities.
