Courts across Nigeria to begin annual vacation.

However some groups are particularly worried about their cases pending in court.

The development followed the adjournment of matter between the Aggrieved Niger Delta Youths and Niger Delta Development Commission to the 26th September and 4th October by Justice UCHE AGUNMO of Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt.

Justice AGUNMO gave the long adjourned date after considering the motion for amended correction of statement of witness on the suit.

The Presiding Judge while addressing the Court said the new long adjourned date was in response to the court vacation which is expected to stall court activities for the whole month of August.

Speaking to newsmen outside the court room, counsel to the plaintiffs, CHRIS OJOBUAGU expressed optimism that the next adjourned dates will usher in the final written addresses.
