Retired DCP KIGHA was arraigned alongside two other persons by the Department of State Services before Justice IBRAHIM WATILA on a six-count charge of threat to life and terrorism.
Before reserving the bail ruling for 24th February, Justice WATILA entertained submissions by the prosecution, VICTOR UCHENDU and the Defence counsel, CLEMENT KEKEMEKE.
The prosecution asked the court to deny bail to the accused persons, stressing that they were being tried for a capital offence.
But outside the courtroom, the defence counsel said his clients ought to be granted bail, as the DSS was yet to prove any act of terrorism committed by the accused persons.
