Dissatisfied with the judgment of the trial court that compelled it to give a one-year free subscription to the complainant, Multi-Choice Nigeria Limited appealed against the judgment before a High court.
The presiding Judge, Justice Margaret Okpara in her judgment upheld parts of the Chief Magistrate Court’s decision that ordered the Multi-Choice to pay two hundred thousand naira as the cost to the complainant.
Today FM’s Uchendu Ejiowhor reports that Justice Okpara however changed the one-year free subscription to four hundred thousand naira as damages to be paid to the complainant.
