PDP stakeholders in Ogu-Bolo Local Government Area of Rivers State, where Senator SEKIBO, hails from, consider the court’s declaration of Chief ANDREW UCHENDU of the All Progressives Congress as winner of the senatorial election as a miscarriage of justice.
Speaking to newsmen in Port Harcourt on behalf of other stakeholders, the Chief Whip of the Rivers state House of Assembly, EVANS BIPI the judgement was not acceptable.
You would recall that a three-man panel of the Rivers state Legislative petition tribunal led by Justice GODDY ANUNIHU nullified the election of Senator GEORGE SEKIBO and ordered that the Certificate of Return be handed over to Chief ANDREW UCHENDU.
