It would be recalled that Governor WIKE had in 2015 sacked eight Permanent Secretaries, the state Head of Service and the Accountant General, among others from office.
Justice BASHA ALKALI in his judgement described the sack to be unconstitutional, as the sack lacks the set down procedures in the public service, adding that all salaries and allowances accumulated should be paid to the permanent secretaries.
Counsel to the claimants, ODUM EYIBA described the judgement as well-considered, while, Counsel to the Rivers State government, HENRY AMADI said that he would look into the judgment delivered by the Judge to determine his next line of action.
Amongst the Permanent secretaries sacked are; SAMUEL WOKA, KADILO BROWN, AUGUSTINE ORLU-ORLU, MUKA NWIKOSI, MINABELEMA MICHAEL-WEST, NGOZI ABU, KINGSLEY HART and JUSTINA JUMBO.
