Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, Professor MOJISOLA ADEYEYE said this while speaking with the media in Abuja.
Professor ADEYEYE said Nigeria may experience increase in the prices of drugs as consequence for over reliance on importation especially from China which is adversely affected.
The NAFDAC DG therefore said synergy between herbalists and researchers to achieve groundbreaking results in drug production will help cushion the effect of the persistence of the coronavirus.
