The president general of Abua Itode Godspower, who made this known in an interview with Todayfm Sandra Kenneth, called on the military to tamper justice with mercy and also called for the unconditional release of the kidnapped expatriates.
Also speaking, a resident of one of the deserted communities, Prince Itari-Akekuogho said they have been hiding in the bush with no food or water.
Itari-Akekuogho, decried that the invasion has affected their social life, adding that the health of their elders are deteriorating.
He also called for the establishment of police checkpoints that would aid in fighting insecurity in the area.
