Justice Ariwoola made the plea when his opposition against the suit was adopted.
The CJN through his lawyer, Akinlolu Kehinde, who also appeared for the Chief Judge of FCT, Justice Hussein Baba-Yusuf and National Judicial Council, NJC, told Justice Inyang Ekwo while adopting their processes that the lawyer who instituted the suit lacked judicial power to do so.
In a preliminary objection, Kehinde asked the court to strike out or dismiss the suit marked for want of jurisdiction.
The senior counsel who gave four-ground of arguments specifically, pointed out emphatically that Oko, lacked the locus standi to institute the action.
Justice Ekwo after taking arguments of all parties fixed March 15 for judgment.
