The Secretary General of the group SUAGE BADEY made the call following the displacement of the people of Kpogho community by some youths from wakamma community, over three weeks ago.
BADEY described the incident as disturbing, considering the numerous problems being faced in the state and country and at large.
He wondered the interest of the wakamma community in Kpogho, and called on the Chiefs and Elders of the community to readdress the minds of their youths.
SUAGE BADEY also cautioned against the politicization of people’s lives following the incident.
On his part; Chief MIKE NWIDOBIE who leads a faction of the Movement for the Survival of Ogoni People described the incident as painful and blamed it on those who do not want the peaceful coexistence between the Ogoni and Okrika People.
MWIDOBIE also called for the peaceful resolution of the crisis.
MIKE NWIDOBIE also commended Senator MAGNUS ABE for donating relief materials to the displaced person who are taking refuge in Bara O Bara community in Tai Local Government Area of the state.
